Laptops with 3 usbs
20 Answers
I have an acer wgich is old but has 3 usb and I am looking to get a better laptop (faster)
hen I look, most have only 2 usbs within my budget - any ideas. I need one for the bband dongle and one for mouse, which I prefer to use.
Will a newer usb (3.0) help me in connecting faster on mobile bband?
Thanks

It depends on how you connect to your broadband. e.g. At home, if you have a router wired to the telephone line, then you use an ethernet cable to connect to the router.
It's very secure and the recommended method when initially setting up your broadband connection. If you have a wireless router (which incidenatally will also have ethernet sockets in it) you can use the built-in WiFi on the laptop to connect to your broadband, allowing you freedom to move the laptop to a convenient workplace within the home. When you take the laptop out of the home, you will need to find a wireless 'hot-spot' to reconnect to a broadband line. If the laptop already has the WiFi built in, then you won't need the dongle.
