h p laptop problem

Hi

I have a hp notebook pavillion dm1-10. Whenever I go to write an e mail or something on word, the cursor darts about the screen whilst im writing and will all of a sudden go to a previous sentence and continue writing there. Meaning i have to continously stop writing and move the cursor back to the sentence i was writing at the time. so if i dont look up at the screen I could be writing a sentence at the top of the page, when really i should be at the bottom. Its been back for a keyboard replacement and been re-formated.

Has this happened to anyone else and what can i do to stop it from happening?

Keeps your wrists clear of the trackpad!

I agree with Rojash. If you are nor doing so already get a mouse and switch off the trackpad on the machine. See if that fixes it.
