Facebook query re: a friends wall

On a friends facebook wall yesterday recent activity (that day) included them voting on a poll of you favourite Glee teacher. However my friend told me they hadn't been on facebook for over a week. The only other person who knows the password is their partner and it wasn't them.
Is it possible for anyone else to post this message?

Yes, if they have given ther password out either on purpose or accidentally. I would doubt a hacker would use the details to bother posting about Glee though.

Or she voted for this on another site which she signs in to with her Facebook account.
