iPad back up of keynote presentation
3 Answers
Can anyone advise as to how to back up my hard work on 4 Keynote presentations that I plan to screen using a projector to small to medium groups.
I feel vulnerable that the iPad is a devise that if dropped for instance .. All would be lost. Or if the battery fails etc.
Can I back up onto a DVD. Apple help but as I am the the other side of 65 I get lost in the ether of jargon.
Any help gratefully received.

If you have a mac as a main computer then send it as Keynote, if you have a PC then send it as a Powerpoint presentation. Copy it to a memory stick or optical disk from there if you don't want to carry a backup laptop. Make sure then that the place you are presenting at has a computer that can run your presentation in the format you have. Personally I would copy both a Keynote version and a Powerpoint version to a memory stick to cover all the bases
OK. Then you can your presentations back to your PC through iTunes sharing. Instructions are here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4088.
Remember PC's cannot run Keynote so you would have to save your presentation in Powerpoint format if running on a PC is your fall back plan when you give the presentations
