forgot to save it!!

Doh what a dummy,just typed out a letter using office 2010 managed to print it but forgot to save it on pc and i need to make some changes to the letter can i get it back or as i fear do i have to type it all out again? (using windows 7) thx for any help in advance

Is your printer just a printer, or an all in one. If the latter, chances are you have OCR, so you can scan it in and go from that.
