This 10Meg Broadband/phone deal by Virgin is £13.50 per month - first three months only £5:
http://shop.virginmed...nd-phone/phm-bbl.html
Add Virgin's landline fee per month of £13.50... total per month (after the 3 x £5 per month introductory offer) £ 27.00.
Buy it online and save the standard £40 installation fee. Or if you know someone already with Virgin, get them to 'introduce' you: you save on the installation fee and they get £50 off their next bill.
(no, I don't work for Virgin).

make sure you research all major companies costs (e.g. sky, virgin, bt etc.) and contact whoever you wish to deal with with the lowest price - and bargain for your business. i did this with sky and now get the full package (tv, broadband and fone) for £15 less than the asking price. all because i challenged them to chase my business. never take the set price as just tht...haggling gets you a long way. i even got £100 of my newest tv (from richer sounds) because i asked them why ishould spend my money there - and told a white lie about the same tv model being £50 cheaper in asda. people will do (almost!) anything for commission x
Ive been with Sky for years and every 6 months I ring them to say im going to leave.... and every 6 months get another offer, without fail. Yesterday I negotiated 1/2 price line rental for 6 months (only £6.25),and reduced broadband to £12.50 a month for 6 more months (from £17.50 per month) and £20.50 for TV package. Also new customers often get free or reduced Sky box, free installation etc. If you dont ask you dont get but if you ask you can generally negotiate some offer, they just wait for you to ask rather than offer it up front!
