Malware Anti-Malware.

I downloaded Malware Anti_Malware only yesterday and when I just switched on, a small window appeared stating thus. (Open Event) failed to perform action. Error 2. Would someone please explain this and what I can do about it. TIA.

Malwarebytes seems to be having a problem loading, or loading one of its components, to solve you need to uninstall the program, run a cleanup utility to ensure that everything has been removed and subsequently re-install the program (you will need to download it again otherwise you could re-install the same malfunctioning component):

1. Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from the Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista/Win 7) area of the Control Panel;

2. Restart your computer;

3. Download the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Cleanup utility from http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-clean.exe

4. Run the above program;

5. Restart your computer;

6. Reinstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
