Orange email

In the recent past, when entering an email address, the computer gives me a "choice" as I start typing. This has ceased and I now have to remember email addresses or go to my contact list. This is really annoying. Can anyone help?

if you click on the (To) at start of email address line takes you to your addresses and just add from there much easier than typing in address.
