I use Virgin Media for my emails and recently encountered a problem attaching files to outgoing messages. Previously there was no problem in receiving or sending attachments but about to a couple of weeks ago without any warning i can now only send small attachments up to approx 130mb, Previously there was no problem in sending up to the limit of 25gb. has anybody encountered similar problems or has a solution please ? many thanks for any suggestions,

Virginmedia's limit is 20MB for attachments, taken from their help pages ... "You can send and receive e-mails with attachments of up to 20MB in size. Note that your contacts may be using e-mail systems that can't handle such large message sizes, so keep this in mind when sending attachments
If someone tries to send you a message larger than 20MB, the message will be returned to the sender." You only get 7GB total storage so not likely to have 25GB attachments

Hi rules, as far as e-mail is concerned sending an attachment of 130mb is far from small. I agree with what Fitzer is saying with regards the limits and would possibly look into another way of sending such files.
I haven't looked at my Blueyonder account for a long time but have you checked your drafts/sent items etc for old emails that may be taking up all your space?
