Anyone here on Plusnet?
Thinking of outing my Sky box - including broadband and phone. Not had any problems with Sky as regards service etc but the £50 a month is a bit steep so going for a freesat Humax recorder and looking to change phone and ISP too.
Any comments good or bad welcomed.
Thanks

But you'll have to check your individual IP for best results..
Try here (it's free!!)

I'm with them
I've had no faults with the service and when I've had to phone them to change the direct debit details it did make a nice change to be able to talk to someone who has the same first language as me (although Yorkshire is nearly as hard to understand at times :))
The only thing I will say is they do limit bandwidth to certain services at certain times of day, but most ISPs do this to some degree and plusnet are a lot more open about it than most others.

They also offer an upgrade for an extra £5 a month that gives you maximum available speed on all services at all times (which I do pay for as It's worth it to me)
All that said, you will always get people saying good and bad things about every ISP, they are all OK if everything works and they can all be a nightmare if things don't work, to a certain degree it's luck of the draw.

BTW - did you know that Humax sell 'graded' boxes via their online shop
In theory they are 'refurbished' in fact the one I got was (very obviously) brand new - I suspect that it's a quiet way of testing how the products would sell if marketed at a lower price.
