Morning all! Just thought I'd ask before I waste any time throwing stuff out of the window & waking the neighbours...

Everything else is working ok, but I get the blue circle of doom on Hotmail & "We can't sign you in..." on Messenger.

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with these two this morning?

In fact have just tried to open hotmail and it won't open so isn't just you

Same problem here - can't get new emails on my laptop but I can get them on iPhone. Service is disrupted - see here: http://downrightnow.com/hotmail

just got into Hotmail on Firefox, no trouble at all.

Good morning - again!

Thank you for responding - I've tried FF, Chrome & IE & am still unable to access Hotmail; Messenger is also still unavailable.

Live Mail shows me -

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail.co (xxxxxx) account.

Server Error: 0x80048820
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.
0.0/Sync.aspx'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80048820

From peterpan's link, it looks as though it's knackered (these techy terms!) & I assume that error message means the same?
