Setup iPad to network with Windows 7
I want to set up a network on my Windows 7 laptop in the hope that I can then link my new iPad to the network and thus use my wireless printer from either device (the iPad must be network-attached for this to be possible, according to the manual, so...
Question 1 - how do I set up a network on my laptop"?
Question 2 - how do I connect the iPad to the network?
Question 3 - what else wil I be able to access via the network, from either device, i.e. can I access drives on my laptop from my PC etc.
I realise this is a big subject and I will need to do some study of my own but am hoping that someone who has already done this will tell me of any pitfalls or shortcuts that will help to make things easier.
Thanks in advance

I don't know about printing from an iPad.
iPads are not very connectable. You can't just share files like in Windows networked computers. Everything has to be transmitted to and from the iPad through iTunes (or other modules specifically linked to applications) or via email.
There is a remote access app called Splashtop that allows you to operate your computer from the iPad. The computer screen shows up on the iPad. Also works with iPhone and Android.
