I've just registered with a large garden supplies website and when I went to log on this message came up..

Is it anything to worry about? I don't shop on the internet very often, I'm a bit paranoid. :)

Yes good news Jno. Thanks all for good wishes to Steady and your prayers Woofy. I know it's only a minor op but it is very uncomfortable for him. When I went to Taunton Steadier wasn't really well either. Think he's got a virus now. I'll find out in a bit when I ring him.

Radio Derby has just gone digital and I'm listening to The Rams on which was my Dads DAB radio. It's a much better sound than my transistor. That'll be of to the Mind Shop now as they have started taking electrical things. As long as they pass a check they can be sold.
No score yet and it's almost finished! At least they're not losing.
Have a good evening.
P.S. I'll be watching New Tricks on Monday I love it!
I think that's brilliant of Mind. Where my Sis lives, the collect fortnightly along with the bins. You put the electricals aout separately and they take them away and either dismantle and recycle or refurbish and sell.
Great minds think alike ...lol .I've just donated to Mind and received a quiz to do.
Yes very good news jno, and when the ticker isn't working you won't even know!

Been raining nearly all day, so cool and lovely right now. No sweating at all.
Oh sorry none of you was there when I posted, well you probably were, I just did not see you!

Well done jno, keep on ticking...and good luck to Steady.

Crip, cold windy day and I've been huddled up with a hot pack, the aches n pains in my left side have migrated to the right. I fed up.

I've sent lots of things to the Mind shop, and then had to fight the urge to go in and buy them back. I'm trying to boycott the cancer shop, but not sure how long it'll be before I'm strangely drawn inside again. I overheard the manageress telling staff she'd been informed they weren't meeting average sales targets on bricabrac so they were to throw out anything that would have a price of less than a pound. All those people giving in good faith, maybe once treasured things and they were thrown away. Disgusted of Derby.
Definite drop in temperature .I've had a long sleeved top on and a cardi today I was in two minds about finding up my socks and winter slippers ..lol.
Yes some charity shops are getting picky about what you donate to them .I like to think what I take is decent stuff .I usually go to Barnardos as it's nearest and they are always grateful .It's daft to throw stuff ,even if they only get 50p for something it's 50p for the charity .
Night all sleep well.
or in my case things they can't be bothered taking to the tip, on the offchance that someone in the neighbourhood might like them. Just like I've had them for 30 years on the offchance that I might use them myself.
Morning all, I am a bundle of nerves, checking to see if hija has everything. Keep thinking of things in the night that she may need. She has such a tight connection in Munich that I dread she'll miss the Dubai flight, although it is the same airline so she'll be in transit, shouldn't have to worry about luggage as that will go straight through.
neti, she'll be fine... but i know that wont stop you worrying :)

Morning all...don't worry neti. That said I couldn't go to Dubai, too many do's and don'ts, especially concerning medications., I'd end up in the clink. )

This is a flying visit, I'm sick to the back teeth - the few I have left - of this bloody java business popping up every minute or two. It need sorting pdq...I'm ok on my kindle tho' so I can keep an eye on on any never ending twaddle. :)

Amen and out.
I've had no bother with Firefox (I have Avast running away but it hasn't given me any warnings). I've had no bother in Dubai either, though I suppose fornicating on the beach while gulping down codeine phablets would catch the eye of the morality police.
Hello all
I hope all goes well Neti .Try not to worry although you will ,it's only natural .
Dull and coolish here .
I haven't got any probs with this Java thing either .Touch wood .
Yes Neti you're bound to worry about hija. I'm the same. Both of mine are getting to me at the moment aren't they.
I didn't wake up til 8.45 as I was at a party last night . youngest sister had her 65 birthday. Lovely time with a log burner keeping us warm as it was quite cool. I've been gardening today but had to stop cos of a down pour.
watching the usual on sky for a while then something to eat. Laters gaters.
PS my screen keeps blanking and I have to sign in not had this before. I can still hear the football. HEEELP! PLEEASE!
not a problem with fake Java notifications is it, Jude? A lot of people seem to be getting shut out of AB at the moment.

Hi all, just back from a beach lunch with hija, very nice it was.

Didn't give a thought to medications in Dubai Robi so am now double nervous as I have supplied, ibruprofen, parcatamol, Dianette, immodium and a Thrush pill (all just in case). Can't make head or tail of the banned drugs website, so will just tuck them into the suitcase and hope for the best. The dianette clears the acne and regulates her periods.
I'll be so relieved when she has actually landed in Dubai, she is sharing a 3 storyed house with 6 other girls, French,Spanish all over the place., and right in the heart of Dubai.
No Jno I get on and off here fine thanks. I've gone through every icon on the control panel on my lap too but to no avail. I'm missing something somewhere.

Neti my latest info about my Bro and Steady is that that are both going off on a round the world trip taking their guitars and busking their way together. Whatever next!!! Please try not to worry about Hija. I know it's not easy and as you say time will tell and if it doesn't work for her then guess who she's going to come home to!
Well the gardening has been help up because it's a bit showery so it'll be tomorrow now when it all gets finished. I think we're in for a brighter and warmer day.
I must be barmy, I've listened to one and watched three footie matches this weekend. That's about eight hours including half time and pre-commentary stuff! Bluddy hell!
I'd better go and have a lie down. Cuppa tea time first.
By the way I think the world tour maybe a 'splif dream'.

^
That's a joke.
