Wireless repeater problem

I have just installed a Huawei WS320 wireless repeater,and have the strangest problem.Everything runs fine with it,son's laptop,wii,x box,psp etc,but my netbook wont play or pause iplayer or any other videos.The cursor moves,but the option to play is not there.It only happens when the repeater is getting used,and the netbook has been running fine till then.
Is there a setting I can change,or should I just try and return it while I can and hope the problem does not occur with the next one,if I don't know what's causing the problem,how can I avoid it?
