This past month or so I've emailed quite a few strangers about family history (offering information, mainly) and hardly any replies. It's suggested that responses are ending up in my junk mail - but where do I find it?

But if you are e-mailing total strangers, it's more likely that you e-mails are ending up in their junk or spam folders.
You can change the way junk is handled by Thunderbird, by right-clicking your account, choosing settings, and selecting Junk Settings in the left hand window.
