It's really annoying, but on the plus side AB is no longer freezing

Not only annoying but I dont have a clue what it means and clicking 'show content' seems to make no difference
Sad to say, Internet Explorer is a basket case. Try a different browser such as:

http://www.google.com/chrome
http://www.mozilla.org/
I have it too, only since I got Windows 8 installed has that something to do with it?
Glad it's not just my computer that's getting this message
I'm not guaranteeing that this post is relevant but it might be worth checking that the correct date is set on your computer. (An incorrect date is the most frequent cause of security certificate problems). Simply hovering your mouse cursor over the clock at the bottom right of your screen should show the date. (Otherwise, or to change it, right-lick on the clock and select 'Adjust Date/Time').

If you find that the date is incorrect and it keeps going wrong after you've reset it you'll need to change the CMOS battery in your computer.

no my date, time and everything is correct in the right hand corner of my computer but I too am still getting the Internet Explorer display at the bottom of my computer.
There is no need to panic. All that's happened is that an ad network has let a security certificate lapse on one of their subdomains. Since an ad doesn't need to be secure anyway, and most aren't, it does not pose a security risk. The problem is so minor and so common that most decent browsers, such as Chrome or Firefox, don't even report it. As I said earlier, get a better browser.
