Yahoo Account Hacked

i think my yahoo account has been hacked. Last night my oh received an email from me that I never sent with a link on it which I told him not to open. I looked on my 2 yahoo accounts I have and mainly on one I saw that there were lots of maile demon failure notices that had come back to me and some emails from ebay, emma bridgewater etc saying that I had sent and email and they will get back to me. I am concerned. Do I change my password or do I set up a new email account. A pain if a new one as my cv has my email addy on it and needed to for work by people who already have it. Why do people do this and why?

I've had the exact same thing.

Change your password immediately. Make it something really random.

I've also taken all old messages off the yahoo server together with my contacts.
