I would also suggest running Malwarebytes:

I go along with WyeDyed and feel that you should give a run-through with Malwarebytes. However, I am never very keen on downloading from 'secondary sites' and, purely my personal preference, I would download Malwarebytes directly from :-

al...i think you are right because java script plug in keeps crashing too, my system is just not the same anymore, i cannot get rid of skype click to call, i uninstalled skype but problems are still existing. i cannot restore my system back to when i want say 1 year ago ( how can i do this on windows vista ? ) my avg free verion is not working, its not running a scan and i cannot uninstall it to re install ....help
beez...You appear to have a combination of problems. Have you been able to download the free edition of Malwarebytes and, if so, what results have you had from running it through your computer.?
I don't know which way you have tried to get-shot of 'Skype Click to call' which, as a last resort, could involve having to download a removal tool. However, first effort should be clicking open 'Control Panel' and then 'Programmes & Features' to find the programme for removal; and, if that doesn't work, then search-out a removal tool.
Personally I would do the same with AVG and replace with the free MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials)
I'll wait to hear further from you.

'Skype Click To Call' is a plug in for web browsers, go to Chromes options/extensions and disable it.
Run a scan with Malwarebytes free to make sure you have no nasties causing problems.
Microsoft Security Essentials is free and it will not ask for any money to repair your pc. Where did you get yours from? This is the best place :-

make sure you select the correct version.
