I have been contributing to AB for roughly ten years, using this ID and a previous (had good reason to change ID, nothing malicious) and natch, I am a huge fan. I have promoted it in techie magazines, social networking and on websites in a very understated way as I'm sure many of us have.
I can't remember how I found this site. I am sure I used Google for information and AB provided the answer but I am amazed so many people do find it as I have never seen AB advertised anywhere, not even as a 'website of the week'.
How did you find AB? Did you stumble upon it as I did, was it recommended or did you see it mentioned in a computer mag or similar?
I googled something and was directed to an answer here. A few days later i was doing a crossword and found myself here again. It was a while before i became a regular visitor and ages before I wandered into Chatterbank, but here quite often now.
I googled a crossword answer and AB was the one who came first every time. I lurked for ages just on that topic until I dared to try CB. I can't remember how long ago that was
I found this site eleven years ago through googling something. It was so long ago, I don't remember what. I've too have had a couple names; I believe they are still around but haven't used them in years. I remember Andy-Hughes and Woofgang from way back when :)
