Hd Tv With Freesat And Dish Want To Update

with playback ITV player and bbciplayer Have Humax box to record but if I omit set up and want to watch on TV I missed I usually use laptop but sometime get insufficient bandwith message. Have been advised bluray player my best option. If it is has anyone a recommendation for my Panasonic TV Looked up Youview advert their test also suggested insufficient bandwidth. Help appreciated thanks

Check your speed here - preferably using an ethernet cable to connect your laptop to the router (rather than wifi) :

If it comes back with a download speed less than about 3.0Mbps then you are going to have bandwidth problems whatever device you use to watch catch-up TV.

thanks sunny-dave I tested speed this afternoon download results 5.6 and 5.35
which ISP says within normal limits and yes tested with ethernet. Tend to use wf fi and laptop for playback though in better position

Should be OK for a smart TV or smart bluray player - connect with an ethernet cable if you can for consistent results.
