Ipad Cannot Get Mail

Says Connection to Server failed. I have just changed my btinternet password on my laptop, and I could always get my email with my ipad, I have changed the password now on my ipad in settings, but it still says its not connected to btinternet when I go into my emails. I have also switched ipad off and on again. I can see the emails under this pop up message. How can I stop this pop up window in my emails please and get my emails on the ipad again?

BT have been saying they're changing from Yahoo to BT Mail. They said if you're mail is Imap change it to Pop.

I fiddled about in settings with my old email, then my new one again, it is OK now. Thanks all
