Spigot Search Protection

Hi All

Does anyone know how to remove the above please?
I keep getting a message when I run Avast's browser clean up tool and the restarting my computer and running same will remove it but it doesn't.

If it helps I have windows vista and my browser is Google Chrome.

Everything I have found by googling looks very technical and confusing!

Won't be able to check answers until morning so thanks in advance for any help.

Try that first and then restart your computer. If that doesn't work try running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, as I've explained here. (It's a different problem but the same instructions apply):
