Family Videos Are Sideways...

When my daughter sends me videos of my grand children they always view on there side, if you know what I mean, so I have to lift my laptop on its side to view properly.

Any help please.

It seems that your video card doesn't support screen rotation. (Most do but, as I've just found out, the one on this computer doesn't either).

However any of these methods should work:

My own preference would be to use Method 6, which needs the excellent VLC Media Player on your computer

(which ought to be there anyway because it's about a zillion times better than Windows Media Player!)

Tell your daughter to hold the camera the right way around ;-)
Meanwhile how about watching whilst lying on the sofa ?
