Avg Query
After updating today, I now find that there is a change to AVG.
It says anti-spam is not installed.
Also personal email scanning is stopping.
And asks me to upgrade.

Any way around this/ Thank you

(Unless you really need a full security suite, which is unlikely if you're reasonably careful about your security anyway, you can ignore them).
A bit of googling suggests that 'EMS is stopping' might disappear after simply restarting your computer. Otherwise try going to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services and scroll to AVG Email Scanner. Click to highlight it and select Restart the Service.

Buenchico - You are right. A restart worked fine and the 'EMS is stopping' has disappeared. Everything now seems back to normal. Incidentally, your other option re AVG Email Scanner - it is not listed in Services.
methyl - It is a Windows PC running on XP. Right again Buenchico!
Thanks guys for your responses.
