Urgent Message Indicator
6 Answers
Due to an intermittent malfunction in Windows Live Mail (messages showed as 'Sent' but didn't always arrive) I'm currently using BT Mail. This is fine, but I can't see an equivalent of the flag to indicate an urgent message. What should I be looking for?

I don't use BT Mail but with most mail clients (and many web services) only a few of the possible columns are actually available to view unless you choose to activate them (with the 'flag indicator' column often being one that's not automatically pre-selected). The way of enabling additional columns varies but usually you either have to look for a 'View' tab (and then enable extra columns from there) or you right-click on an existing column header (such as 'From' or 'Sent) and then find an option to add further columns there.
Sorry, Buenchico, I didn't make myself clear. I did actually mean outgoing mail, to indicate to the recipient that it needs to be dealt with asap. There's a red flag in Windows Live mail to show 'high priority', but I couldn't find anything similar in BT mail.

There isn't an Options button - just a Language options; the layout isn't the same as shown in the link. Which does reassure me, because i did think I'd tried everything obvious before I posted the question; if it wasn't there, i couldn't have found it! But thank you for the link; for some reason I hadn't thought of the BT helpdesk, so I'll explore that tomorrow. And thanks for your suggestion, calibax; I've always been a bit nervous about putting punctuation marks in titles, in case it means something totally different to a computer, but it would certainly be better than nothing.
