I was unsure where to ask this question but perhaps someone can advise. For some weeks text messages are being sent to my husbands mobile which are from iow.staffbank@nhs no reply. These are requesting cover for A&E etc and are to a totally wrong number. I have tried to contact them but the messages still keep coming. Somebody is missing out on work which they may need badly and the hospital are not getting their much needed staff. Some weeks ago I managed to make contact and was told the number (my husbands) would be deleted from their data base. Since then they keep coming, 12 in the last couple of weeks. My attempts to contact them have received no response so I am unsure if they are reaching the right place. I don't use facebook twitter etc if that would be a suitable route.Any advice welcome thanks

Look on Google there are regional staffbanks.....if they are not answering telephone you may find an email address....or contact the local hospital, perhaps they can help put you in touch ?

Thanks murraymints and Buenchico The messages are still coming, another today. Yesterday morning one message gave a telephone number which I rang unable to speak to anyone but left voicemail message. I also sent an email to address supplied by Buenchico so far I have again received no response. I will try again in a day or two if I still hear nothing. If the correct recipient is on a zero hours contract they are being very hard done by not receiving work offers and it does that hospital no favours!
If you don`t get any joy, you could write to them. I always think a letter tends to get passed on to the correct department eventually whereas emails and phone calls can be ignored.
I don't know if this will work, but have you tried texting STOP to the sender's number?
Being cynical I wonder if it's a scam linked to a premium phone number and you're doing just what they want.
If it's a wrong number you may be able to stop the calls but they won't necessarily send them to the correct person, so would not help the zero hours contract.
