Three cheers for Dave and George.
Our economy is out-performing all of the G8. The in-work stats are brilliant, the reduction in those on benefits welcome and, unlike the Eurozone victims(Greece, Spain, Italy etc), we are forging ahead.
Really sad that Lefties can't do their sums but, then, they never could.
May have something to do with comprehensive education, which they lumbered us with. Credit where credit's due. Dave and George are due a round of applause.
Overall, I agree, scooping.....sure, there are areas of weakness perhaps to look at and controversy, but the general economics point well. Wait for the sale of the major chunk of Lloyds and maybe the first slug of RBS - this will be used to sweeten the election, so I am anticipating the autumn statement will be an interesting one.
One of the encouraging signs as well is Councils getting off their fat asses and the announcement of creating one super zone for N England, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Bradford is a really good one that may help initiate further growth and employment there........
Yes DT Give the North this autonomy and in a couple of years they will be emulating the Scots and pushing for their independence out of the clutches of London. :-)
