When I sign in to Google, I get an oops message which says 404 Error. I then have to click on iGoogle and I'm in.

I have Mac. In the old days I could do something with Microsoft but a Mac is like a modern car when it goes wrong I haven't the faintest idea how to fix it. Any ideas please. Bramley

It just means it didn't find the webpage it was hoping to show you.

It sounds like something isn't coming in fast enough and then is ready when you get around to clicking on this iGoogle whatever.

I could sort out the old PC but I've no idea where to start with a Mac. Thanks, Bramley.
But as per O_G, if it is a 404 error it has nothing to do with the Mac, my guess would be that you are using an out of date link/bookmark/favourite and the page no longer exists
