How Do You Buy Apps For A Hudl (Tesco)

The school is thinking about buying the small tablets called Hudls from Tesco, but we understand that they are not operated by iOS (????) & we are sure they therefore do NOT have iTunes.
So with that said how do you buy the apps?

All help greatly appreciated.

I think they're Android devices - therefore you would use Google Play to download apps.
One of the big computer magazines (possibly Computer Active?) had an article some time ago which listed all of the applications which they advised that nobody should ever have on any computer. Unsurprisingly the dire, horrid, bloated, iTunes was close to the top of the list. You don't need it and it's definitely best avoided.

Hudls use the world's most popular operating system for mobile devices, Android, so there's no shortage of apps available. Double Twist, for example, is an excellent (and indeed better) free alternative to iTunes:
