Nero and iTunes

I never used to have any problems with Nero Burning Rom, until I installed iTunes, but never realised the link. It's only when I completely removed Nero 6 and used the cleaning tools available on the Nero website, reinstalled Nero that the problem was solved. Unfortunately, the next time I went to burn a cd on iTunes, it stated that certain drivers were missing and to use the repair function in Add/remove programs. Nero has worked for a short while since, but the problem has began again - The program transcodes the video files, but crashes shortly before burning itself begins. Does anyone know of any conflicts between the two programs or can shed some light?
