I've ordered things on line today from two different sources and I usually get an email straight away to confirm my purchase but I've had nothing .
The transactions went through according to my account .

Afternoon all, still no laptop so won't post too often. Apparently everything has been wiped off it, so having it all reinstalled. Hopefully back by Wed. The spare Dell that I was given won't open up cause the previous owner has it locked with password and I've beggered about and it is now worse. Hija has got me a new Samsung Note 3 with a 5.7" screen, that should do me.
Hi Jude glad you are ok and adding about. I've even invited to La Troya at amnesia tomorrow by a gay friend don't don't think its my scene, ha do I have a "scene" at 71!!
Poor Robi, must admit its not so hit here now about 26¤ but the humidity is still awful! Role on winter.

hello all, its still warm and black here. I have been changing three piece covers, hoovering UNDER furniture and febreezing everywhere.

Overcast here, I also decided to change the bed, now Ive tumble dried the duvet cover, fitted shhet and a coupke of pillowcases, but as I also changed the underslips theres 8 white pillowcases hanging to dry in the laundry room. I am coveted in mossie bites, makes me feel grubby!

had homemade turkey meatballs with jar tomato sauce and fried gnocchi for tea, it was lovely.

Snap woofy we had gnocki with homemade tom sauce, followed by local delicious sweet strawberries and whipped cream!
Getting cooler now but not cool enough!

I don't think you'd like to dip a toe in the North Sea atm Jno unless you want frostbite .It's very chilly here today.Started off alright but went downhill fast .

I hope it's a nice day for them, shaney. They were at Greenwich for a few days but it was miserable so I didn't go for a look. Lots of them were here last year.

It's only a two day festival.They sail out again tomorrow evening .Lots of traffic here today so I expect there were a lot of people along the quay but the weather hasn't been kind although it looks better for tomorrow.
I expect the beer tents were full with people getting out of the wind and rain.
I used to go but it's too crowded for me now hobbling along and I couldn't queue up for ages for a fried herring to save my life these days:(

Lovely pic shaney but it looks chilly, I see everyone's got their dark coats on :( When I nipped out yesterday there were some in their t-shirts (and goose bumps the size of golf balls) and some in their fur trimmed parkas.

The birds are sooo busy this morning. I've got dozens of goldfinches and sparrows...and the feral pigeons are back and they all seem to be in a grumpy mood. Must be reincarnated biddies :)

Good morning. Almost wintry here! No sun and loads of wind. (Not personal wind!) Not sure what mossie has bitten me but itching like mad, we've got tiger mossies but don't think it's them, but certainly indifferent ones! Have dug out the old phablet (without sim cards) to use until lappy is back.

The island is heaving cos its cloudy and moist sdo all the grockles (guiries) are roamimg the streets. I fancied burger king but after driving there and taking 30mins to park in a proper car park, couldn't get in the door so decided to drive 10mins further to burger king bast playa den bossa. While he was parking miles away, I went to order the food, but burger king wasn't there, it had changed to KFC, so I waited and waited and in the end, I called Mr N to say no more Burger King. He was there waiting for me, as I had completely gone to the wrong street, what a wally I felt! 3x cars neatly crashed into us on way home, its the young locals making illegal turns and burning rubber. I did feel a bit old sitting there glaring and tutting. Was quite avrelief to get home.
