After resetting my laptop I downloaded what I thought was Free AVG,however it appears I have 6 days left of a free trial,Can one still get the free AVG?

If you'll be using Avast, Whistonian, here's a tip that might help you:
By default, every time Avast updates itself an annoying American woman's voice announces that fact. If you happen to watching a video, or listening to internet radio, on your computer at the time she can be REALLY, REALLY annoying!
So I suggest that you disable voice announcements. To do so, click on the Avast icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. (It's a curly letter 'a' on a mustard-coloured background. You might need to go via 'Show hidden icons' to find it). Then click on Settings, followed by Sounds. Click to remove the tick and then on OK.
