Might be an "Oldie," but a Friend has just shared a Photo on Facebook, of an HMRC Scam. It reads

"Dear Applicant,

you have received a tax refund payment of 632.25GBP from HMRC (HM Revenue & Customs) into your Internet Banking Account.

Please accept the tax refund request. The money will appear in your Internet Banking Account within 6-12 days. A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons. For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.

Please click on sign in (Hyperlink) to Online Banking to accept your incoming funds

There is a Directgov image at the bottom, and two other Hyperlinks - Crown Copyright and Terms & Conditions (Not that T & C would be a cause for concern).

I get at least one of these every week; I should be worth a fortune by now, but no, deleted straight away. (And why would British HMRC write 632.25GBP, what's wrong with £632.25?)
