My father in law is going to Harris and would like to use his iPad.
Is there a community broadband on the island?
Would it be better for him to get pay as you go 4g? And if so who offers the best coverage?

Gav check the BT hotspot maps online. you can use BT facility on a weekly or daily basis.

I don't think there is 3G, never mind 4G, on the Isle of Harris.

Where is he staying? There may be wifi availabe there. There is certainly broadband on the island but I'm not aware of any community broadband

There is one BT hotspot, at Tesco in Stornaway
