That's not a tragedy lol, it is a usual glitch of Google Chrome (and even Mozilla Firefox sometimes) when you do not update it on time. Facebook, Wikipedia, Youtube and many other secure websites with HTTPS protocol are susceptible to this error. Follow properly this instruction https://www.itechgyan.com/err_spdy_protocol_error/ and you will easily get rid of the problem.
