Virgin Tv Anywhere
Hi all
The blurb on VM's website states that with the TV Anywhere app, you can watch Virgin TV anywhere as long as there is a broadband connection. I downloaded the app (successfully) and tried using it to watch a film I had recorded on to my Tivo box (in the lounge) on a TV in the dining room(connected my Hudl to the TV via HDMI) - it didn't work. All I got was a message saying that the TV must be connected to my network. Posed this question on a VM forum and was told that that both the Tivo and the 2nd TV must be connected to my network. Surely the title "TV Anywhere" is misleading - any thoughts or ideas out there ?

HC, from Virgin, really? I'm on Virgin and the TV Anywhere app is for watching their streaming channels and not recordings from one's TiVo, one can watch recordings from one TiVo via another TiVo but not the app. As to whether the app is misleadingly named, it's called TV Anywhere not TiVo or Recordings Anywhere so as it allows you to watch streamed TV then it seems ok but not a challenger to Sky Go which I think people expect it to be.
