Emails From Ebay
9 Answers
I use ebay quite a lot, almost always for buying, not selling.
But I get a lot of emails from them, almost every day and these are now becoming a nuisance. If I mark these as SPAM, will that affect important emails from ebay, from going into my in box ?
Or is there a way that I can ask ebay not to send me these marketing emails, but to continue to send me important ones ?

emails will ALL be scams, I get them as well but they are NEVER from eBay, who as I said contact you via eBay messages NOT email.
I do get emails from PayPal both genuine and the occasional spam.
I have a 10 year old hotmail account but it sends all the scams to the trash folder.

Eddie ...all of these unwanted emails from ebay are kosher. They are marketing emails, starting with something like ::::
Today : amazing deals on ebay just for you XXXXXXXX.
Or similar ones, like reminding me of items that I looked at but not bought, or similar items to those that I HAVE bought...all standard marketing stuff !
When I followed Fitzers advice, and went into "communication preferences" I found out that you have to opt out, not opt in, to these communications, so its worth pointing out to people that perhaps they too, need to amend their details.I wasn't aware that I could opt out, until this morning.
