Urgent - No Emails Again!
Can anyone please help me as I'm now desperate! Had no incoming or outgoing emails since 13.30 Saturday. Quite sure it was a Talktalk fault but spoke to them for 80 mins today, and they said all is ok as emails coming into the TT server - just that they are not transferring to my In Box.
I use Windows XP and Outlook Express 6 and the emails are POP3. The customer service chap told me to change the outgoing port from 25 to 587 which I did while he was talking me through it. He says its not Talktalk fault but thinks a problem with Outlook Express but where do I go from here? TT no longer support it so they can't/won't advise ...... Can anyone please help in a very easy way for me to understand? Many thanks.

Go to Tools > Accounts > Mail (tab)
Click on the name of the account to highlight it.
Click 'Remove' and then 'Yes'
I suggest closing Outlook Express and then reopening it (or even restarting your computer) to ensure that the settings have really gone.
Then go to Tools > Accounts > Mail (tab) again.
Click on 'Add'and 'Mail'
Then configure your account account:

Many thanks Chris! My brother and I followed your instructions to delete the account and reload and every email on my server has now come through onto Outlook Express - all 11,000 of them!!! But at least it is working even though it will take ages to select which to get rid of yet again!
Thanks again for your valuable help - much appreciated x
