Firefox Problem

I'm curious as to why I can't open anything on my email page when I log in with firefox but all is well when I use google - with f/f the page is completely unresponsive. This began on Monday evening......has anyone else experienced problems? I've run all the usual scans and nothing is amiss. Thank you.

What e/mail programme are you using.?

Did you download anything on Monday.? An App or an Add-on for Firefox.

Have you got the latest edition of Firefox (48.0.2) ?

Thank you for both replies - will check if there are updates available although in the past I've just assumed firefox updated itself as I've never done it.

By "Google" do you mean "Chrome" ?
I reckon all browsers have their own set of problems.

Yes OG and that works fine - maybe I should re-install ff then I should get the latest version shouldn't I?
Have tried to manually update ff but not sure if Ive been successful - dark room with cool cloth on forehead looming.

May well be worth a try. In your shoes I'd give it a go although i can't see why it wouldn't have updated ok. You may need to re-add any add-ins your installed in the past. Maybe it's an add-in that's causing the issue.

OG have reinstalled ff and things remain the same - I'm now of the opinion it's this Microsoft Edge thingie that is causing the problem as my emails open fine when I don't go via that route - am just going to ignore the problem at the moment and go the route I know will work. Thank you

I can't see that MS Edge can cause a problem if you set Firefox as your default Browser.
