Hoping you can help. I need to buy a large tablet but have read that many or most apps aren't designed for tablets and look dreadful on a large screen, often the same size displayed as on a phone with black edges.

I would be grateful if you could share your experience and opinion of Android on a larger screen.

If you need a large tablet but recognise that Android isn't great for your needs, why not go for a 2-in-1 Windows device instead?

Thanks, buenchico. I really don't need a two in one device and Windows does not provide all the apps I need, unfortunately.

iPad Pro would be a better bet. You'll still have some of the same problems with the blowing up of apps not designed for the screen size, but everything will be there and many will have dedicated versions.

It is expensive though.

Thanks, ABEd, I very nearly bought the iPad Pro 9.7 128GB - it would have been my first Apple device and seemed perfect for me BUT, and it is a BIG but, it doesn't support multi-user (guest user) which is an absolute essential for my needs.
Seems I'm snookered.
