Skype: Last Seen Days Ago?

Hello. So i was talking with a friend on Skype and the icon of this person was active! Now it says "Last seen days ago" What does that mean? Has this person deleted me or blocked me? (I can still see the photo of this contact and not the default Skype icon)

I don't use Skype but that nice Mr Google says that it means either
(a) the user has blocked you ; OR
(b) they've set their status to 'invisible'

Since Microsoft took over Skype, each new update causes more problems. Currently Skype will show people randomly as offline or away. It also logs people out at random, shows me as offline if my screen is locked (this used to be an option; now there's no choice) diverts calls at random to my mobile even when I'm sitting at my desk with Skype open in front of me.
So the true answer to your question is "it could mean anything or nothing. "

Surely logging out if a screen is locked, defeats the objective of communication to a large degree. May as well send an e-mail.

I'd have guessed the phone hasn't been on the Net for days.

I think you misunderstood OG. I have Skype on my computer. I f I walk away from the computer I hit Windows+L to lock the screen, so that the cats can't screw up my work while I (say) make a coffee. I'm still available to take a Skype call, but Skype shows me as away.

Their is one option '' status '' you can make it turn as per you like if you want that peoples in your contact list should not get notification about you that you just get on line you can make it mute for others and you can do whatever you want.
