Wifi Booster Help Please .........

Our router is in our front room and cannot be moved.
I need to get a signal out into the back garden and it's just not happening - the signal needs to go through one solid wall to reach the hallway; then another solid wall to reach the kitchen; through some french windows to reach the conservatory; then finally through a UPVC door to reach outside.
By the time it's reached outside, the signal is quite poor. Once I move more than 10 feet from the back door, the signal has gone - no where near enough to reach the middle of the garden.
I'm after a booster, but there's so many available, it's confusing.
If I get a powerline WiFi booster, does it need to be on the same ring as the WiFi hub itself, or does it not matter??
Would a WiFi extender be enough?? There's a plug socket right next to the back window, so I could plug one in and sit it on the window sill in the conservatory and hopefully (?) it'd be enough?
Any advice please??

Who are you with the range you are getting doesnt seem very good. I often go across to my neighbour 30 yards away and get good signal at the back of his house.

I'm with VM.
I just rang them and they offered to rent us a booster for £3 per month. Not a bad price, but I was told I'd be paying as long as I kept the booster, which could work out quite costly in the long run, so I'd rather buy my own.
Have a look at Ebuyer they have some excellent products at reasonable prices
