Typing Text Problem

Hi techie ABers out there ... all of a sudden (it might have been since a Yahoo update!), everytime I tap the "quotation marks" key I get an "@" instead of the quotation marks - and vice versa - everytime I tap the @ key, I get quotation marks. Is there something I need to do do convert to a UK English keyboard rather than an USA English keyboard? Hope you can help, many thanks, Chox.

Control Panel > Region and Language > Keyboards

Press the "windows" key and the space bar together then choose English.

Thanks so much both, really greatly appreciated. All back to normal now, but I've noted what you have suggested, just in case it happens again. Think it was the recent Yahoo update. Such a nuisance when they do that! Cheers, have a great evening, Chox.
