everytime i go to type in the address bar www.etc. it drops down. this i find annoying. how can i stop this from happening.
prev re install xp 2 - and it works but

clear your "history"

Have you got Internet Explorer? If so, go to the Tools menu, click on Internet Options, select the Content tab, click on the AutoComplete button and uncheck the box for Web addresses. That should do it without having to clear your history all the time.
