Ab Spell Checker

Spell checker has stopped working using AB and all other forums. It was working ok two days ago. It is ony happening when I use Edge -tried on Chrome and the wobbly red line appears under the spelling mistake. Going back to Edge, I've checked all there is to check re settings -allowing spell checks etc rebooted but still no spell check available. Any suggestions?

Yes, don't use Edge.

For anyone else with this problem I've sorted it out by downloading Microsoft Editor.

Click on the 3 dots top right ···
Click on the cog wheel settings.
In the menu over on the left click Languages.
Move the toggle switch to on for English United Kingdom. (it should go blue)

Thats odd. Works fine for me. Have you got all the latest updates installed?

Default is US so it should spell check most words.

Ta for that, Togo. Mine was set for American spelling so i've changed it.

Thanks, togo, but as per my OP I'd checked all the settings before posting. This Editor is particularly useful as it checks grammar as well as spelling and is a free download from Microsoft.

I think Google do a version of that as well. I should try it.

You can get it from the microsoft website, and they ask you if you want to download it for Chrome or Edge
