BT Broadband Router and P2P

I have just moved and I have broadband from Bt Business and I cannot get my P2P software to connect. I presume that the router is to blame, which is a BT Voyager 220V router. I would appreciate some help in getting me connected to my P2P. I should add that my internet etc is all working fine. Many thanks in advance.

It will be some sort of firewall or port blocker...probably on the router. Check which ports your p2p uses from their website then check your router is allowing traffic through those ports. Try disabling any firewall software / hardware to see if it is that also.
