FGS please can someone sit all these politicians down and tell them that we cannot make any difference to world emmissions no matter what we do. Now the PM has just committed us to penury trying.

Potty!

He'll miss the targets by a mile and embarrass himself (and the UK) by doing so.

I do wish the grown-ups could be put back in charge of everything...

This whole emmissions thing reminds me of a a star trek episode, "The Naked Time". The crew contract a virus that has a similar effect to alcohol that gives them hopelessly poor  judgement. In our case I think the whole political spectrum has contracted it.

I am a bad person. I read TTT's joyful (gleeful even) indictment of the present administration ( can I rename it "gladministration" to incite the usual suspects?)

and I thought : ommitted has  only one 'm'

radio rental judge!

I wonder if the Chinese representative at this hot-air talking shindig got a real scolding from the rest of the eejits there? Not likely.

Apparently, according to the ridiculous Ed Miliband, the UK has to set an example to the rest of the world.  Why us? As if anyone else is going to follow this lunacy. Why do our politicians always think we have to take the lead? Let someone else go first for a change and see how it affects them, then we might follow.

Peoples opinion change like the (weather.) PP 15.50

What's the point of putting an arbitrary number on the target?
I despair! And I voted for these people.

As I said on the other thread, it's not about the climate it's about energy.

It's no real surprise that the countries sitting on shirloads of carbon products are the ones not particularly enthusiastic about the whole GOP thing.
