Why? They've been produced and paid for (by us!). How do they justify this...is it because it's celebrities taking part?

From what the bbc article says then yes, it's because it's celebrities taking part that makes it a different kind of show, not that any of the celebrities have complained though.

Its such a shame, all because of one persons actions.

what cheek ! - all because he wanted to do Coronation Chicken  Breast - the whole thing was binned !

haw haw haw - I find  it difficult to take this saga seriously

(" It was awful and I felt degraded. But I didnt do anthing about it  until now" -  just on telly now Jesus)

Surely with the power of technology today, Greg could be edited out. They did it recently with The Repair Shop.

As a licence-payer for over 50 years I object to any more money wasted on the likes of Greasy Gregg 🤣

Regardless of what the man (Wallace) did or didn't do, it's such a shame to see what all the contestants & the technical & financial resources which have gone into this programme (which I've never watched) to be binned.

Khandro,

I agree, what a waste of time and money, and contestants effort.

Why can't they just edit Greg out, and use audio from someone to present the show.

Seeing Wallace on the tv now would make most people switch over. Might as well chop it all out now.

I've known men like him. He might not be dangerous or aggressive, but he just makes women feel extremely uncomfortable and a bit sick.

Cloverjo,

But why should one idiot ruin it for millions of fans of the show?

Todays technology can edit Greg out, and just use a background voice to do the sections Greg spoke on.

Not an ideal situation, but it would rescue the show.
