copy function disabled
On one particular site that i visit (not porn) sometimes has pictures which i would like to download , when i try i get the message "copy function disabled" and sometimes a message like, dont download this picture.
My question is this, is there anything that i can do at my end to reverse this? also is the sender using some extra software to enable him to do this or is it part of what comes with the web page company he is using?

If this doesn't work/is too complicated, use "Print Screen" and photo-editing software.
I believe that it is possible to code pages to disable right-click and/or display a warning. Some hosts (like Tripod) seem to automatically disable picture downloading/linkage.

Boobesque is correct in saying that the picture file will be somewhere in your internet cache. The only problem is that it can sometimes be hard to find. (You might have hundreds, or even thousands, of pictures in your cache. If the file you want is something like 'goldenretriever.jpg' you might find it fairly quickly but if it's called '319a5sd27.jpg' it might prove hard to identify among thousands of other files.
My preferred solution is simply to save the web page. (Just click 'File' and 'Save Page As' - or whatever your browser says. Choose the option to save the whole web page). When you go to the location where you saved the web page you'll find a folder which contains all of the component files which make up that web page. It's then easy to identify the file you want and copy it across to wherever you want to store it.
