Just searched Google, actually 'Googlefight' http://www.googlefight.com/ and 75% of the internet think it's 'Wet your appetite' have I gotten it wrong or not, to have thought it was 'To Whet your appetite'? Talk about 'Ask the Audience' - 'Uh-Errr'. Also, is it escaper or escapee when referring to an absconder?

You've got it right, Xyz. It's 'whet', meaning 'sharpen', as in a 'whetstone' for knives. It's also 'escapee'. You have to remember that vast tracts of the WWW are produced by the not-very-bright.

Yeah, Yanks; they flee our country, invade another's then tell them we talk funny. Sheesh. I really believe they have a 'Just to be Awkward language twisting Committee' Where members sit and discuss what they can do to alter stuff in order to grasp some self identity. Of course they changed colour to color, grey to gray etc Took a couple of letters out of aluminium, decided to pronounce some words differently, schedule, controversy etc and mom instead of mum pop instead of dad but that's not all; British tie wearing types will almost always have a stripe that goes backslash direction or is it slash? Anyway, almost All yanks as a consequence have Their tie stripes the Other direction! Check it out on movies etc sometime or ask Google. What other shenanigans do they get up to in order to shape an identity? This 'Answer' is going to be submitted to a slot of it's own - see if I can discover anymore on this subject. :-) And no racist remarks about this either, if you don't mind (Tj) It's not a racisst issue it's Brobdignagian! ; bigenders and littIe-enders.
